the academic year. In a recent milestone achievement, the Tuscaloosa County
School District reached a significant accomplishment on Thursday, December 11,
2025. Specifically, Rock Quarry Elementary School celebrated the achievement of
seven teachers who earned their National Board Certification this year. This is
a commendable feat, with a total of 23 teachers across the district attaining
this prestigious certification. As a result, the Tuscaloosa City School
District now holds the title of the second-highest in the state. Patricia Ford,
